Flow chemistry constitutes a high-order technical expression of continuous reactions at the microscale. Through millisecond-precision control in microreactors and modular continuous-flow platforms, we achieve a triple breakthrough in atom economy, stereoselectivity, and process continuity for thermally-sensitive/oxygen-sensitive molecules. This addresses cross-industry challenges including: pharmaceutical API degradation, chiral deviation in agricultural pheromones, deactivation of bioactive compounds in health science, metallic contamination in electronic chemicals, structural heterogeneity of functional materials, and process scale-up failures.

The Chemical Engineering Laboratory of JOOE Group has developed multiple platforms and process flows. Currently equipped with diverse continuous reactors—including microchannel reactors, photochemical reactors, continuous catalytic hydrogenation reactors, coil reactors of varied materials, small-scale continuous stirred tank reactors (CSTRs), and independent operational units such as pumps, recirculating chillers, and back pressure regulators—our expert scientific team leverages mastery in end-to-end continuous flow manufacturing to fabricate novel reactors and develop robust process flows tailored to reaction requirements.

In the manufacturing of thermolabile high-value molecules, precision cryogenic control is the critical safeguard. Leveraging dual platforms (-90°C batch & -110°C continuous flow) and three core innovations—industrial cryoreactors, energy-efficient flow synthesis, and molecular-level thermal control—we ensure safe production of thermosensitive molecules. Focused on scalable cryogenic processes like Grignard/halogen exchange, we deliver breakthrough solutions across five fields. Applications include cGMP-grade ADC cryo-conjugation achieving ultra-high purity and industrial-scale capacity, -85°C precision synthesis of insect pheromones and microbial pesticide precursors with 3-fold extended field persistence, and enzyme-catalyzed synthesis of thermosensitive peptides/natural antioxidants preserving >95% bioactivity.

High-Pressure Chemistry

High-Pressure Chemistry Platform

Our hydrogenation platform integrates industrial-scale reaction systems (4-9 MPa, 300-3,000L Hastelloy® systems) with intelligent constant-pressure control (±0.1 MPa dynamic regulation). Driven by real-time hydrogen absorption kinetics monitoring and comprehensive equipment data, it achieves selective olefin reduction and precise chiral center construction. Coupled with continuous flow inherently safe technology, we deliver high-selectivity hydrogenation solutions for cGMP intermediates (stereo-preserved natural actives) and ultra-pure electronic solvents.

Our continuous-flow photochemistry platform revolutionizes green pheromone synthesis via custom full-spectrum LEDs (precision-matched to absorption profiles) and millimeter-scale microreactors (millisecond mixing for maximal photon efficiency), overcoming traditional thermal limitations like low selectivity and multi-step processes. By eliminating precious-metal catalysts and extreme conditions while reducing waste at source, core technologies include photocyclization/ring-opening and photocatalytic asymmetric reduction, delivering sustainable solutions for pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, cosmetics, and 3D printing, with proven applications in ultra-pure Vitamin D3 synthesis, high-efficiency insect pheromone production, and precision photopolymer molding.

Our full-cycle analytical technology platform, with ~70% focus on pharmaceuticals, delivers end-to-end technical services from preclinical research to commercial production; integrated modules—including method development/validation, stability studies, structural elucidation, impurity isolation/characterization, reference standard preparation/qualification, physicochemical characterization, and cleaning validation, ensuring regulatory compliance and performance reliability while empowering cross-sector quality control.

Equipped with HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, XRD crystallography, DSC/TGA thermal analysis, and process safety assessment capabilities (RC1 reaction calorimetry, adiabatic acceleration calorimetry ARC, thermal screening unit TSU), we collaborate with partners like Chongqing University's Analytical Center to enable full-spectrum analytical coverage spanning nanomaterials (BET/TEM) to biomacromolecules (CE-SDS).
